Alyssa Dantes is a fourth year student and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Her work was exhibited in Drawn In at The Union Gallery (2016). Dantes also took part in the Union Gallery’s fundraising event Cézanne’s Closet (2016) and she was a representative on the Department Student Council for Fine Art at Queen’s University for three years during her degree (2014-2017). Her interest lies in sculpture and printmaking. Her sculptural work focuses on toxic relationships and the insidious effects from each relationship. She uses a variety of body casting methods to portray her ideas.
